Place chicken breasts between sheets of plastic wrap and pound lightly to an even 1/2-inch thickness.

In a shallow dish, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, rosemary, and black pepper. Add chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.

Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.

Grill the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius). Transfer to a plate and rest for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, place broccoli florets in a steamer basket over boiling water. Steam for 4 to 5 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp.
